ENAMELED CAST IRON COOKWARE
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any tags or stickers. Rinse with warm soapy water and towel dry.
OVEN INSTRUCTIONS
Cookware is oven safe to 500℉ or 260℃. Do not Microwave. Safe for use with gas, electric solid plate or radiant ring, induction, glass or ceramic stovetops as well as gas and charcoal grills. Always place hot pans on a heat-resistant surface.
HANDLE PRECAUTIONS
Handles will become hot during stovetop, grill or oven use. Use pot holders or oven mitts when handling cookware. Always follow proper safety procedures when making food on the stovetop, the grill or in the oven.
UTENSIL USE PRECAUTION
To protect the lifespan of the cookware’s enamel coating, only use silicone, nylon or wooden utensils while cooking. Metal utensils, sharp tools, or electrical devices should not be used, as they could damage the enamel coating.
CARE AND CLEANING
If there are food residues, fill the pan with warm water and let soak for 20 or more minutes before washing.
Hand wash recommended. Allow cookware to cool fully before being washed. Do not submerge hot cookware in cold water. Burned grease or food residue can usually be removed by washing with warm water and mild detergent.
All cookware entirely made from cast iron with enamel coating can be washed in the dishwasher. Washing in the dishwasher can, over time, lead to some dulling of the enamel finish. This dulling will not impair the performance of the cookware and is not harmful. Make sure the cookware is dried thoroughly and always allow the dishwasher cycle to finish before opening the door.
Never store damp cast iron cookware. Make sure the cast iron cookware is dry and stored in a dry place, away from steam.
Enameled cast iron is durable but it may be damaged if accidentally dropped or knocked against a hard surface.
GENERAL SAFETY AND CARE
This product is distributed by Kovmak Corp. and is warranted against original defects in material, construction or workmanship under normal household use, not commercial.
If any piece fails to conform to this warranty, return the item within one (1) year with proof of purchase and Kovmak Corp. will replace the item with one of equal value at no charge, excluding shipping costs.
Damage caused by misuse or failure to use proper care in accordance with instructions provided is not covered.
